A wonderful Christmas present

what a fabulous session we got to wrap him up as a Christmas present.  H was a joy to photography so very corporate.  Slept most of the whole time, until the end and we still got some great shots with his eyes wide open.

My grandson was born 12/13/10 at 10:13am.   It was love at first sight for all around.

 

The beautiful N family

A few weeks age I had the pleasure of taking photos of the N family for their Christmas cards.  We got some great shots of the kids and the family all together.  The coolest thing is we got it done before the weather turned cold, got to love very late fall in Georgia.

I've been wanting to do some pin-up shots for awhile now, today I was given the chance to do my first session.  Don't you think Miss A makes a great pin-up model?  Tell me what you think.

Was able to do a wonderful photo shoot of with a very pregnant lady and her man.  Mostly we did of her of course but we took some great one of the two of them.

Had a chance to photography some really handsome boys today.   Brothers B&B are cute as a button, even tho they were really tired, I got some great shots of them.

Little princess K is only 5 days old and was not quiet a slept when she came over...and it did take awhile for her to go to sleep but we got some great shots.  Here's one of my favorites of the little princess.

peeking out...way out

I kind of, sort of "stole" this idea from someone who's work I love...but I changed it a bit.  I love the idea of peeking out from behind a tree and seeing her big belly.  V is due any day now.

 

  

Now that you can see her in all her glory you can see what a beautiful pregnant goddess she is.

Mother and child

Words cannot say what the heart feels when holding your own baby.  A mother loves says so much without saying a word.

Went to the park I was taking photos of people and this shot just sang to me even before I bought my camera to my eye.  It tells a story by it's self,  what does it say to you?

How cute is she?  I was taking photos of T and she wanted to play peek-a-boo and hid behind the gate, popped up and said "surprise!"

Missing a tooth with another ready to come out any day.  She has such a big smile it makes it hard not to smile back.

the title says it all, she had such deep chocolate eyes that you could just fall into them.

Free spirit

There are really no other words to describe this but as free spirit.  The look on her face is so happy and free.  The joy of being able to run on such a warm, sunny day in it's self is a wonderful feeling and when you are young the joy is made ten fold.

Take a deep breathe can't you just smell the sweet baby smell of him?  Doesn't he just make you want to pick him up and hold him for a bit.  Cuddle him until he falls asleep then hold him just a bit longer.  Ah, the joys of newborns, they grow so fast and one day they're no longer babies to hug and hold tightly in your arms.

A blooming tree on such a pretty spring day, it's hard not to pick a blossom and looking at the beauty of it.  The beauty of spring.

A couple weeks ago I did a great sitting with 3 beautiful kiddos.  Twins who just turned 2 and their big sister who is 5.  It was such a pleasure to photograph both her and her brother and sister.

Head to toes in pink

Just really like the way it looks.  I didn't do anything to this photo.  The close up, wondering what she's thinking.  Her face just a little out of focus giving her a dreamy quality.  The little bit of dried grass on her hat....I don't know something about it that gives me pause.

And down to her feet.  From her head to her toes dressed in pink.  The focus is all on the foot with the "boot".  Life is all about the little things that we see and others wonder about....

My Daughter loves the color red and musicals.  Today she found an umbrella opened it and started singing, nope it wasn't "Singing In The Rain," just something she made up on the spot.  It was really cute watching dance with the umbrella.  She comes over and ask me if I could take her picture.  I did, I made her model for me.  Here are 3 of them.  Her eyes are so blue with the red behind her.  In the last photo she looks like a little imp!

eye's have it.

I was doing some self portraits and as I was looking at this one (before I cropped it) I saw the refection in my eye.  How it matched the color of my hair, so different then the blue of my eye.  If you know about the color wheel you know that blues and greens are opposite of oranges and reds.

The night before the first ~and maybe only~ snowy day we had there was a leaf on the walkway up to the steps.  I couldn't wait for the snow to cover it so I could take some photos of it.  I was overjoyed with some of the pictures that what I got.  :-D  Here are a couple of that I took.
