Victorian beauty

I saw a photo of 3 women in Victorian era clothing and I thought that something like that would be great for Ms M and her boyfriend G.  I was so right!  The photos turned out fabulous.  I couldn't ask for better photos of the 2 of them.  what do you think?  Are they not a great looking couple and don't they just make you think of a romance novel cover?

It was way hotter then we thought it was going to be for mid October even in Georgia, in the 80's, but lil princess L kept her cool and was a joy to photography. E&T were there with me as they helped out to get her to smile once in awhile, a very serious little princess.

I heart faces is doing the color black as a theme this week; this photo is anything but serious, bleak, or dark, moody but it does have black in it and I could not share it with the world.

This is one of my favorite photos my uncle's wedding  You can see the love and joy in her eyes as she's laughing at something Uncle Phill said, releasing the tension making her more relaxed.  You just can't help but to smile when you see this, wondering what he whispered to her to make her laugh out loud.

Ms S at Grant Park

Meet up with Ms S after trying for a few weeks to get together because of bad weather, forgotten important meets, schedules not working out, and so on.  But on a beautiful, sunny, warm fall day was the day and it was so worth the wait! 

We had such a good time together, both of us were so relaxed with easy smiles like we've known each other for a long while.  I can't say how much fun it was without it sounding like I'm gushing.  As you can see by the photos she much have had a relaxed and fun time as much as I did.

 

 

the wedding of P&S

It was a beautiful wedding.  The bride and groom may not have been a young couple, but the love in their eyes for each other is timeless.  It really was worth the 12 hour drive to be part of their wedding.  I'm glad they asked me to take their wedding photos.  Congratulations P&S may your marriage be a long and happy one!

Let them be little or "momma monkey socks"

I [heart] faces is doing a photo challenge of let them be little and as I was going through my old photos this one popped out at me.

This is an old one of my daughter Edd.  I wanted to get a photo of her in the jacket, but she was so happy to be wearing my monkey socks.  Every time she would see them she would want me to put them on her.  So as long as we weren't planning on leaving the house I would let her wear them....for awhile.  Oh the joys of something so simple as wearing your momma's silly monkey socks.

M&V wedding

Got to be part of a beautiful wedding for a really cute couple.  The bride was really pretty and of course couldn't stop smiling.  The groom, he was a bit nervous but all smiles when he saw his bride.  So very happy for them and their future together.

I got the joy of going on a location shoot in the mountains of TN to take photos of this beauty.  In the 2 days that we were there I took about 250 of her.  And the best part is we had a really hard time just picking 35.  Here are a few of to show how beautiful she is and why it was so hard to choose the ones we did.  Isn't she a beauty.
